Welcome!

Gosh I’ve been thinking about this for a long time! Ever since I realised I wanted to work in helping people feel good about their finances, I’ve been thinking about the sorts of things I’d write here. I have notes all over the place of things I want to write about, stuff people have mentioned to me or asked me, weird/tricky bits of finance or law that I find fascinating and also just a place to try and parse out how I feel about things.

But there’s more to come. I had a blog for a long time with my wool shop which I loved, and then I transitioned into having a vlog which I also loved but this here is a little different I think. In those spaces I was trying to expand and deepen my relationship with people who were already interested in the shop, here I’m also doing that, but it (well, the website in general) is the showcase of why you would want to work with me and it’s also a way in which I can hold on to my commitment to financial equity and education.

I want to work directly with as many people as possible, of course. I want to earn a good living doing good stuff in the world. But I also want to effect change through knowledge and empowerment so that a whole generation of women and non-binary people in the UK (not just those who can work with me) can move from feeling cautious, stressed and cowed to feeling wealthy, generous and alive!!!

Doesn’t that sound exciting?!

So you can expect here:

• Unapologetic selling.

• Solid financial education.

• Pondering some of money’s deeper/weirder/historical connections.

• Politics - some worldwide stuff, some UK stuff and, likely, more personal stuff like body positivity and intersectional feminism.

• My life in Sweden including cats, learning the language and crafts.

• And I’m sure a lot more that I haven’t thought about.

I’d love for you to comment any time you’ve got something to say or ask. I am just so curious about this business I’m building which feels both huge and deeply, specifically personal at the same time. And, because it’s based entirely on serving my people (that’s you!), it feels almost unknowable right now but we can discover it together.

I’m finishing up the last legal bits here before I can launch properly (everybody takes the whole summer off here in Sweden - wild! - so I haven’t been able to organise the professional bits) but there will be regular blogs here and you can sign up to the newsletter right here.
